Lens - Tibetan Image Search, by Peace & Tech · Last updated: July 7, 2026
These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the Lens - Tibetan Image Search app ("the app"). By creating an account or using the app, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
Lens - Tibetan Image Search uses artificial intelligence to recognize objects in photos you take or choose, and to name them in Tibetan (with pronunciation) and a second language of your choice: English, Hindi, Spanish, German, French, or Mandarin Chinese. Results are provided for general informational and language-learning use.
You need an account (via Sign in with Apple) to use the app. You are responsible for activity under your account. You may delete your account at any time in Settings → Delete Account.
Usage limits exist to keep the service affordable for everyone. You agree not to circumvent limits, share accounts to pool quotas, reverse-engineer the app, or use automated tools to submit photos at scale.
You agree not to submit photos whose content is unlawful, and not to attempt to make the underlying AI model perform tasks other than naming objects. Photos you submit must not violate the rights of others.
Identifications are machine-generated and may contain errors. The AI may misrecognize an object, and Tibetan is a low-resource language for AI systems — a suggested word may occasionally be uncommon, regional, or wrong, and the romanized pronunciation is a simplified approximation. The app is a learning aid, not an authority: verify important vocabulary with a fluent speaker or a dictionary.
You retain all rights to the photos you submit. You are free to use the names and translations you receive. The app, its design, and its branding remain the property of Peace & Tech.
We aim to keep the service available at all times, but it depends on third-party providers (Apple, Google) and may be interrupted, changed, or discontinued. We may update these Terms; material changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date, and continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the app is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, and Peace & Tech shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the app, including damages arising from reliance on any identification. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid for the service in the three months preceding the claim.
These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
